3 Types of Food to Cut Out Now To Reclaim Your Health


junk-foodOut of all of the unhealthy foods that you can put into your mouth, there are some that are much worse than others. This generation is slammed with unhealthy food from fast food, restaurants, and processed food in the grocery store that is much cheaper than fresh foods.

Of the foods that are extremely bad for you, these are some that can be considered the worst.

 1. Foods with chemicals in them

Did you know that there are over 80,000 chemicals that are used in foods? Some are to preserve the food, others are to give it coloring, or to keep its shape. No matter what the reason, we should not be subjected to ingesting so many chemicals per meal. At this point in time, pretty much the only things that you can buy without chemicals or additives are fresh fruits and veggies. Even then you have to buy organic because there could be pesticides on the fresh foods.

 2. Foods with trans fats

Trans fats, which are found in hydrogenated oils, have been known to cause an increase in blood cholesterol which increases the risk of arteriosclerosis. Hydrogenated oils are vegetable oils, but they are hydrogenated so that they can be shipped and will still be good to use when they get to their destination. This is what causes the trans fats.

 3. Foods that are refined like white flour and white sugar

Foods that are refined have empty calories. They have no nutritional value to them, and are more likely to be turned into fat in the system. There are no vitamins or grains to these refined foods. Due to this, many people that eat these regularly lack the essential vitamins and minerals that are needed to be healthy.



  1. I cut out white rice, flour and potatoes out of my diet. I don’t eat pork and little red meat. My Dr. said that my cholestral is that of a marathon runner at my height and weight.
