Actress Zoe Saldana Says Her and Other Hollywood Women Skip Meals to Stay so Thin

Actress Zoe Saldana was interviewed about her weight recently. She was asked how it was that she stays so skinny. Her reply was that she didn’t really exercise much, but she did like to eat healthy. She mentioned that she hadn’t had lunch that day yet, but it wasn’t the only meal that you could skip in a day. After mentioning that she snacks instead of eating meals she says, “you can go on for days doing that”.

Right now you are probably thinking, “That is not healthy at all!” But don’t worry, Saldana was just joking. Her interview was part of the upcoming show IFC Comedy Bang! Bang! that is airing Friday, August 10th at 9pm. You still may think there is some truth behind her words though, and who could blame you? Earlier this summer when she was in Allure Magazine she weighed a petite 115 pounds. She stated that she is a very tough person because she is a New Yorker and she is Latina, so it is all a part of her personality.

If what Saldana said was actually true, she wouldn’t be the first. Actress Joanna Lumley, one of the stars of Absolutely Fabulous, has admitted that her diet to stay thin is skipping breakfast and lunch. She says that it wakes her stomach up by doing this because if she ate a big breakfast she would be eating all day long.

Skipping meals, especially breakfast, is not a good idea. You need that kickstart for your metabolism in the morning. You need to be able to get calories in your body so that you can have energy to go through your daily routines. This is not a diet people should be trying. There is a saying: Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper so that your meals work with your metabolism.

  1. Get the book “How to Eat to Live” by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Allah(God) taught him that the best way to eat if you want to live a long healthy life is to eat 1 meal a day , no snacks in between meals. The Nation of Islam practices this. Min. Farrakhan is 80 years old but looks to be a man in his 30s. The scientists are catching up to this fact through experimentation on rats by subjecting them to different diets. 1 rat was allowed to eat whenever it wanted and it died first. A 2nd rat was given this world’s suggested diet of 3 meals a day, it died next. The rat that was on 1 meal a day not only outlived the other rats but it became more youthful over time. Look it up. This world profits on telling you to eat 3 meals a day because the you eat, especially this toxin filled foods, the more you stay sick or worse. Your body is not given an opportunity to rid itself of these toxins and as a bonus your stomach is being worn out. Only when you are ready to die should you eat 3 meals a day. If you need to get your metabolism going inthe morning, drink some coffee or tea. But the reason you need “that boost” is because the body is bogged down by food and toxins. Anybody who ever fasted(no food) for 3 or more days will tell you hlw much energy they have and getting is not an issue because their body is bogged down by food or toxins. Anytime you eat you are breaking fast. Again, 1 meal a day is, indeed the best diet. We need to know How to Eat to Live.

  2. You state that the show is airing Friday, August 10. In 2013, Friday is August 9. Do you mean Saturday, August 10. Please correct, meanwhile, I will check my local listings.

  3. Consumer tastes now influence the entertainment industry in a way which has beenimprobable before the the web and the virus-like submitting of stories, and alsofinished entertainment content. Once you add to that distribution internet and, headlines, websites online, from rumor to entire motion pictures. It’s a totally new environment. Much of it beneficial, some not.
