Beyoncé shocked the world yet again with another bombshell revelation. This time, it had nothing to do with her music.
According to the world-class, 35-year-old singer and performer’s Instagram page, Blue Ivy Carter is about to have two new siblings. “We would like to share our love and happiness. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes,” Beyoncé wrote in a Wednesday (February 1st) posting on her Instagram page.
The message obviously implies that the “Crazy In Love” singer is pregnant with twin babies. Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother also took to Instagram to share her excitement about the baby news a short time later. ““WOW I don’t have to keep the secret anymore. I am soooo, happy God is so good, twin blessings,” Mrs. Knowles wrote.
Apparently, Mrs. Knowles already knew about the pregnancy, but remained tight-lipped until her superstar daughter finally broke the news. Jay Z, Beyoncé’s rap mogul husband also had two artists under the Roc Nation umbrella take to social media to express their enthusiasm over the new additions to their label head’s family.
“So excited about this news!!! Congratulations to you @Beyoncé and my big brother Jay!!!!” singer Rihanna posted on Twitter.
Rita Ora, another Roc Nation artist commented the words “soooo beautiful” on Beyoncé’s baby bump Instagram photo, which contained the announcement about her pregnancy. The news about Beyoncé having twins definitely broke the internet.
After just 45 minutes, over 500,000 Twitter postings were made about the big story, according to The New York Daily News. Speculation over a surrogate mother carrying the twins quickly came about after the news of Beyoncé’s pregnancy made headlines.
However, she reportedly told People Magazine that those rumors were “bizarre” and untrue, according to The New York Daily News.
