Don’t Want To Get Sick? Why Your Doctor May Prescribe This Instead of Medication

Do you ever have those nights where you just cannot fall asleep no matter what you do? It’s like your brain refuses to shut itself off which leads you to being up all night long. Does this happen often? One woman had this issue and she was stunned by what her doctor told her. He said that what she really needed was to have some more s*x and watch more p0rn. She balked at his answer until he explained a little further.

When you are a creative and intelligent person your brain sometimes just does not want to calm down after a long day. It has been working all day and wants to go into overtime. Your brain is a workaholic. Writer Carrie Borzillo was told by her doctor that she was too smart and needed to find ways to relax before bedtime if she wanted to get some sleep. She needed to do something that didn’t require a lot of thought and was relaxing. His suggest was to dumb things down at night and have more s*x with her partner. It is a mindless activity that can be fun and very relaxing.

So how does all of this tie into not getting sick? It is simple really. The less sleep that you get the more prone you are to catching all of the nasty little viruses that are flying around through the air. Your immune system depends on you getting a good night’s sleep so that it can keep your body healthy. If you aren’t getting enough rest your immune system will not be able to keep itself going and viruses may be able to enter.

Nicole Prause, Ph.D. from UCLA states that while intelligence and your ability to fall asleep have not been proven, she does agree that s*x is the best cure for what ails you. It helps you to relax and also connect with your partner at the same time. There is plenty of evidence to support the theory that s*x will help you to fall asleep faster. The faster that you get your mind off of whatever it is that you are obsessing over from the day the faster you will be able to get a good night’s rest and help your immune system out.
