Ladies: Why You Have a Burning Sensation During $ex

Have you stopped having s*x with your partner because you get a burning sensation or an infection after? There is a reason why this is happening and there is something that you can do about it.

There is a condition called vulvodynia which is one of the most common causes of burning during s*x without any actual cause. Around 16% of women are affected by this and it is very often misdiagnosed. Sometimes the pain can be so bad that women will have trouble exercising, having interc0urse, or even walking.

There is no known cause for vulvodynia but some have theorized that it could be related to an event such as childbirth or surgery. Physical or s*xual violence could be the cause as well. Some women have a lower pain threshold than others so they feel it more than someone else who may not even know there is an issue. If you find that you are having this pain, make sure that you tell your doctor that you specifically want to be tested for vulvodynia as only 9% of women are actually diagnosed with it. Others end up getting the wrong diagnosis of an infection.

Even though the specific cause is not known, there are a few treatments for this condition. You can do Kegel exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, change your diet to a healthier one, or even try medical remedies such as antidepressants and lidocaine ointment that you can put on the v*lva to numb the area. If the case is really severe the doctor may inject an anti-inflammatory which is called interferon alfa to reduce the swelling. This is done three to four times a week.
