The best part is that she did not go through surgery or any extreme dieting after having baby North. She shared in an interview the diet that she maintained and how she was able to drop the pounds while still remaining healthy.
Kardashian says that she took up the Atkins diet after the baby was born. She dropped 50 pounds in just six months. She also has exercised a lot more now that she is no longer pregnant. While some may look down upon her for going along with a “fad” diet, it is actually one of the safer ones to go on while you are still nursing. The basis of the Atkins diet is to eat a lot of protein but cut the carbs. It is healthy because you can have lean chicken and fish, nuts, avocadoes, and many different fruits and vegetables. All of these foods are great for a nursing mother and great for the baby as well.
Along with following the diet Kim, amped up her intake of water every day. The creator of the Atkins diet says that you should drink a lot of water, have a bunch of small meals through the day, never skip a meal, and only weigh yourself once a week.
