Former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama and former U.S. President George W. Bush have developed a chemistry between each other that has many people talking.

The pair of dignitaries started raising eyebrows more and more over the years at different government events where high-profile leaders would appear. In the early years, Mrs. Obama would appear in pictures with her husband, former U.S. President Barack Obama, Mr. Bush, and his wife, former First Lady Laura Bush.

The years went on and the photos taken of the four at different public events became less and less casual. Why? Because as time went by, the photos began to depict a very cozy and affectionate chemistry between Mr. Bush and Mrs. Obama. Mr. Bush was the first one to open up a little to the media about their growing friendship.

Mr. Bush told People Magazine in an interview years back that Mrs. Obama genuinely seemed to like his sense of humor, which made him really start to like her. The pair was even photographed kissing as their spouses looked on with awkward and somewhat uncomfortable looks on their faces.

Mr. Bush looked absolutely smitten and dreamy eyed in another photo  where he is wrapped in Mrs. Obama’s arms resting his head on her shoulder. However, Mrs. Obama shared her true feelings about Mr. Bush in a televised interview on the TODAY Show this week.

“We’re together all the time and I love him to death. He is a wonderful man. He’s a funny man,” Mrs. Obama said. Political observers are more diplomatic in discussing their speculations and say that this shows happy moments in bipartisanship.

Nonetheless, when it comes to the tabloid sources and their speculative views…well that is another story.
