Rumors started to fly about there being a rift between former supermodel Naomi Campbell (pictured right) and pop music star Rihanna (pictured left) when the two women recently stopped following each other on Instagram.
This past Tuesday, Campbell, 46, was a guest on Bravo’s interactive late night talk show Watch What Happens Live. When host Andy Cohen asked her if there was any friction between her and Rihanna, 29, Campbell in a not-so-convincing manner said there were no problems between her Rihanna.
The two women have appeared to be good friends in the past. Despite the Instagram rift, they are still following each other on Twitter.
“Everything’s fine,” Campbell told Cohen calmly. “Of course it’s fine. I’m an actress now Andy,” she continued as she gave a sly wink.
However, Cohen didn’t let up. He wasn’t convinced that the two women didn’t have some kind of beef going on. The 48-year-old late night talk show host kept on grilling Campbell in attempts to extract some juicy gossip in front of his live audience. However, the former runway ripper remained tight-lipped.
“I don’t have beef,” Campbell said. ‘I don’t have beef especially with black women that support, who are powerful and out there… we’re all in the same thing, doing the same struggle,” she continued.
Campbell and Rihanna have been seen together in public in the past being very affectionate toward one another. Last year, Campbell tweeted a special birthday message for Rihanna with a picture of the two of them kissing each other.
There were even rumors that the volatile Campbell assaulted a woman named Cara Delevingne in Paris after she heard that Delevingne had a problem with Rihanna. However, Campbell denies this story, which was originally reported by the New York Post gossip column called Page Six.
