Need Help With That Baby Weight? There’s an App for That

new momBeing a new parent can be very hard, but luckily we live in an era where our electronics are always trying to lend a hand anyway that they can. If you are struggling with your weight after the baby, feeling like you need more resources to be a good parent, or exhausted from writing thank you notes after your baby shower, then you can relax a bit knowing that your electronics want to help.

There are plenty of apps out there that are designed to make this transitional time easier for you. E-Books are a great way to get on-the-go or easy access information about how to be a better parent, what your baby needs or even a little R&R for a tired new parent. You can access E-Books on your phone, tablet or computer, so if you can multitask, for example: breastfeeding and using your Kindle, then you might have a shot at figuring out what all the rage is about 50 Shades of Grey.

There are also plenty of workout apps that you can download right onto your phone. The iPhone comes with a Nike workout app that is bound to get your body back into the shape that you desire. There are also plenty of workout videos online and on Youtube if you like shortcuts. Now that you are a parent everyone wants to see pictures of your baby, but you don’t have time to email everyone.

With easy access to Facebook, Twitter, Vine, Instagram and other great social network apps on your phone and tablet you can share media easily with your friends and family.

  1. Hello,
I am the administrative assistant for a non-profit midwifery organization, the National Association for Certified Professional Midwives. We are re-doing our website, and looking for photos. We love this photo of a mother and child from your blog, and are wondering if you could grant rights to us to use it, or if you can tell us whom we should ask.
Thanks so much for your help!
