People who loved the days of old when NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak were members of the cast on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” (RHOA) might be in for a treat when the show’s 10th season starts soon.
According to a March 16th report from PerezHilton.com, Leakes and Zolciak have been in negotiations with Bravo (the cable channel that airs RHOA) to rejoin the cast of the popular reality TV show.
“Sources close to [RHOA’s production staff] told TMZ that both Kim and NeNe have offers on the table for Season 10, which the network wants them to come back as full-on cast members,” Perez Hilton reports. However, there are a few kinks in these deals that all parties involved are failing to iron over.
Zolciak is currently working on her own Bravo show and NeNe has a lot going on too these days. This why Bravo (as PerezHilton.com reports) has shared its willingness to negotiate with the two women favorably. Executives at the cable channel have expressed an openness to the idea of having Leakes and Zolciak on the show as part-time cast members.
Word has also circulated that some current members of the RHOA cast have not been receptive to Leakes and Zolciak returning to the show. However, RHOA star Kandi Burress has expressed her support for Leakes becoming a cast member again.
Burress has not said what she feels about Zolciak possibly returning to RHOA. In fact, Burress and Zolciak have had a legal dispute in the past. This problem began when Burress sued Zolciak for failing to compensate her for co-writing the song “Tardy for the Party,” which was released in 2008.
In 2013, Burress filed an official lawsuit against Zolciak charging that the country music singer earned profits from the song without paying the people who helped her write the song.
At press time, no official agreement between Bravo, Leakes, or Zolciak had been made to resume filming for RHOA.
