Porsha Stewart (also known as Porsha Williams) is best known for being one of the saucy wives in Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo. The 31 year old housewife is an actress, a singer, and a public speaker. In May of 2011 Porsha married Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kordell Stewart. The two are now going through a painful divorce but that didn’t stop Stewart from offering up some marriage advice during an interview with Sister 2 Sister’s Jamie Foster Brown.

Porsha and Kordell argued constantly through season 5 of Housewives about her career and their family’s future. All of the other housewives on the show felt that Kordell was an overbearing husband, but Porsha still stood by him despite what they thought. Now that she is divorced she has a new set of standards that she lives by in order to find a relationship that is not like her first. She tells women in her interview how they can spot the right guy when they are out there looking.

She tells women who are looking for a man to find someone that they trust. The man also needs to have her best interest at heart most of the time. She suggests finding someone who has a purpose in life that is right in line with your purpose and you will know that you can last. Porsha also states that when people get married they often do not know what their purpose actually is, so that makes it harder when they find it out and it is not in line with their spouse. She tells women to trust the purpose that God is telling them that they are supposed to have and if their man is holding them back from that purpose, he is not the right one.

  1. Indeed, she is correct, but she came to this understanding through her EXPERIENCE. People in successful relationships can offer good advice, and people that have had an adverse relationship experience can offer just as solid if not, better advice. It just depends on the circumstance.

  2. One thing she left out, you need to Google your man, yes you will have to pay for it, but rest assured, it will be worth every dime!
