Singer and reality television star Tamar Braxton (pictured above) just publicly shared a very personal and adverse detail about her life that was previously unknown.
According to The Jasmine Brand, Braxton, 40, along with her music executive husband Vincent Herbert, 48, revealed that Braxton suffered a miscarriage on this week’s segment of Braxton Family Values. On the show, she told her sister Toni Braxton that she and her husband desired to remain silent about the issue for a while before telling anyone about it. “You know, I didn’t tell nobody because it was very, very new. Well, maybe, like, a week before I went to Atlanta, I found out that I was pregnant,” Braxton told her elder sister.
Toni then asked Tamar if she was currently pregnant. She simply replied, “No, I was.” On camera, Toni expressed that she felt upset about her sister’s news and didn’t like the fact that Tamar hadn’t told her about the miscarriage earlier.
“I was really disappointed that she didn’t tell me, but I understood. Sometimes, it’s between a husband and a wife. But I was glad that she finally told me, and I could be there and hold her hand because I’m sure that was a disappointing situation that happened for her,” Toni said.
Toni also told Tamar that their sister Trina doesn’t always agree with Tamar’s parenting style. The Jasmine Brand’s report on this issue contains a video clip of the discussion that ensued on the show between Toni and Tamar.
Tamar’s revelation about a miscarriage goes a long way to explain a post on social media that she made almost a week ago. The post showed a GIF of what appeared to be a mini Tamar dressed in an Easter bunny suit. “I wish I had a baby girl,” read a message below the GIF.
