Tamar Braxton (pictured left) and Toya Wright (pictured right) used to be very good friends.
The two reality television stars previously had a close, public friendship and would routinely be spotted together at star-studded events. However, it appears the two recently had a falling out and have become bitter enemies. All of this became clear once Wright started promoting her new book, which is called “In My Own Words… My REAL Reality.”
Last month, Wright appeared as a guest on “The Real” talk show to reveal the cover art for her book, which was released this week. Wright made her appearance on the show after Braxton was fired, however. Excerpts of Wright’s book have leaked online, which accuse Braxton of blocking her appearance on “The Real.”
“My friend was on the talk show for what I believe was two seasons and I was never able to go on there. After my friend was fired, my publicist was able to get me on the show, which I found to be strange,” read the excerpt of Wright’s book, which was leaked via Baller Alert.
“I never had a convo with my homegirl about what happened to her and how she ended up leaving the talk show. All I knew is that she no longer worked there,” Wright also wrote.
Braxton also subsequently unfollowed Wright on social media after Wright’s appearance on “The Real.” A friend of Braxton who goes by the Twitter name Him Kardashian-West has fired back at Wright over these allegations. Braxton’s friend has made tweets, which obviously hint at the fact that a feud between the two is still alive.
“That girl ain’t been on The View, Good Morning America, Ellen, hell even Ricky Lake, but somehow it’s “strange” she wasn’t invited on the real?” Braxton’s friend tweeted this past Wednesday.
Wright obviously understands marketing. Promoting a public feud with a former celebrity friend is a good way to sell books. You can buy Wright’s book by clicking here.
