Every day we are bombarded with images on television of paper thin models and actresses who are advertising weight loss programs, pills, and new diet fads that they try to convince us we need. It is hard to tell what is good for you and what actually will work without doing some extensive research most of the time. A good portion of the time anything you see on television that seems too good to be truem in regards to weight loss, usually is (too good to be true).
When people go on diets the deprive themselves of the foods that they love and end up binging and gaining the weight that they have lost back. Khloe Kardashian has lost 30 pounds over the course of the year but she didn’t do any fad diets or take any pills. She ate the foods that she loved. She didn’t count calories, cut carbs, or get rid of every single thing that she likes to eat.
Khloe says that she felt that she would have better success if she tried to lose weight in slow motion as opposed to rapid fire and that seems to have worked for her and that is her secret. Instead of restricting herself, she simply continued to eat what she wanted but was more conscious of how much she was eating and just tried to lose a little at a time. She didn’t push herself to a breaking point where she gave everything up and ended up gaining the weight back.
Different studies have suggested that just trying to maintain your weight instead of trying to lose it will actually help you drop some poounds. If you are trying to lose weight it is best for you to work on something that will remain with you long-term instead of a crash diet where you lose a bunch of weight initially but then gain it all back and more once you fall off of the diet. Pick something that will be easy for you to keep up with and watch the weight slowly melt off.
