Too Much? Look At This Woman’s “Waist training” Results

Model Kelly Lee Dekay has never wanted to look like everyone else. She has her own unique sense of style. Her hair is a beautiful blue color. She likes to wear animal prints and faux leather. She tries to emulate female superheroes and female cartoon bombshells such as Jessica Rabbit. In order to achieve these looks she has had to train her body to be the right shape.

Dekay’s modeling profile states that she has a 28 inch, size DD chest, weighs 115 pounds, and her hips measure 40 inches. What is most remarkable about her however is her waist. With her other proportions you would think that her waist measurements would be in the high 20s or 30s. This is not the case and she has made sure that her waist is the tiny size she wants it to be. She is now down to a 16 inch waist which she managed to get by waist training. To compare, 16 inches is approximately the width of a standard dining room chair or the length of two and a half dollar bills. Her figure is certainly an hourglass.

Waist training is something that has been around for a while. Dekay started when she was just 20 years old. Recently Kim Kardashian has stated that she waist trains as well to get a better hourglass shape. What waist training does is uses a corset to cinch your waist. Every day for hours at a time Dekay would put on a steel-boned corset. When it felt comfortable to wear again the corset would be cinched a little tighter. The tightness of the corset makes it uncomfortable to eat large portions which means that you consume fewer calories. It also makes you sweat so you end up losing water weight. Physicians state that this is not a safe and effective way to lose inches off of your waist and is not permanent either.

Dekay states that if she is going to the gym she doesn’t wear the corset. If she plans on lifting heaving things she won’t wear it. There are a lot of things that you cannot do while wearing the garment as you could seriously injure yourself. She states that it is worth it and that she loves her figure. She walks around with confidence which Dekay stated she was lacking before she began training.
