Watch Out Beyonce; Jennifer Hudson Is Taking $exy to Another Level

A lot of talk has been going on since Beyonce released her surprise album, which took her “$exy” to another level. Some people felt that the singer and actress had gone too far and even complained about her Grammy Awards performance. Her rapper husband, Jay-Z was accused of pimping his wife for money and ratings. Personally, I felt that Beyonce was just doing what she does-entertaining.

Now, it seems that Jennifer Hudson is the latest singer-actress to take her $exy to another level, in her latest shoot with V Magazine. The photo-shoot  was done by Terry Richardson, who is known for doing photo-shoots that include as little clothing as possible.

J-Hud, who, like Beyonce, had a baby and then worked to get back in shape, says that she is ready to be be seen.

She says,

“Earlier in my career I was just a soloist singing other people’s songs. Now I really want to be an artist…I want to lift the people up, have fun, create a moment. I have my own visions that I want to bring to life. People think I sit in church all day or stay at home and stare at my Oscar. It’s like I’m a nun or the president or something. I realized that people don’t really know who I am. It just feels like it’s time to take the training wheels off, you know? Let them see me.”

It is interesting to note that J-Hud and Beyonce are pretty close in age so is it really a coincidence that they are both going through this “transition” around the same time? Maybe “thirty-something” singers and actresses have a secret that the rest of us don’t know about.

Are you ready for a new $exier Jennifer Hudson?

  1. Its time to get it straight people…

The true definition of sexy is not “NAKED”, sexy comes from the inside out, its a personal character from with-in, high self-esteem, how positive you feel about yourself makes you sexy, not some risque half naked clothing. What they are doing is called flat out “REBELLION”… Choices bring consequences rather they are good or bad. Jennifer still does not look as naked & loosey goosey as Bey. Its kinda classy, good lounge wear for a woman entertaining her husband at home, and Jenny’s leggs are not all gaped wide-open for the whole world to see.

  2. Sexy means make someone want to have sex with you. It is nothing to be proud of. Usually, the more skin a woman shows the sexier she is.

    • @Harold…
Negative, that’s some backwards donkey a$$ BS… are you a woman!! Do you have some deep-rooted feminine ways on the inside.
What do you know about being sexy when it comes to women! Matter of fact what the h*ll do you even really know about sex out of peni$ & a [email protected]

    Really?????
Who are you to judge on how these WOMEN define SEXY?
If they choose to wear the clothes that show their figure, that’s up to them. Beyoncé went HARD on this album. It’s different from any of her albums. That’s what she wanted to do, & she did it. (VERY WELL) Beyonce’s performance on the Grammy’s…..I didn’t see anyone in their seat. EVERYONE was dancing & having a WONDERFUL time. Jay-Z pimping her out…..OMG he’s her HUSBAND & trust me, she don’t need anyone to pimp her out. If she wanted that lifestyle, she could’ve done it on her own. Notice how she was into her husband throughout the performance. It’s simply JEALOUSY!!!!!
Jennifer Hudson….Again, she’s bringing her sexy out. She’s doing it in her own way. Why is it that everytime two or more artists do something, y’all have to compare them. That’s CHILDISH!!!!!
If any of you had that lifestyle, y’all would probably do the same thing. NO ONE should pass any judgement. Grow up people & get a life.

  4. YOU READ IT!!! DEAL WITH IT!!!
and while your at it get some discernment so you can mature to another level of understanding Ms clueless & blind.
Truth does not breed jealousy! Now its time for you to go in-search of real life, shame on you if your raising daughters, just another [email protected] hole in the black community…

  5. I hope Jennifer will not pursue this illusion. Taking your clothes off does not make you sexy. It actually takes away from your essence as a woman.
Don’t trade your God given definition for a dollar bill.

I AGREE WITH SHARON BUT UNFORTUNATELY, SEXY FOR MANY IN THIS FIELD MEANS REVEALING MORE OF YOUR BODY. IT SELLS and IT IS ABOUT MONEY IN END. NEITHER ONE OF THESE ARTIST HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING TO ANYONE. THEIR TALENT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, THEREFORE IF WE ARE BRING TRUTHFUL WHATEVER THEY ARE DOING IT IS WHAT THEY WANT TO DO.

  7. Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Minnie riperton, Phyllis human, needing say more? These ladies never showed unnecessary skin, they just sang their asses off. It’s a shame that today’s “artists” have to strip instead of working the voice that made them.

  8. IT’S ALL ABOUT CHANGE, GROWING AND LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST, AND GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. BEING AN ARTIST DOES NOT LIMIT A PERSONS CAPABILITIES. BEING A WELL-ROUNDED AND DIVERSE ENTERTAINER HAS LONGIVITY IN THE “BUSINESS”, AND PAYS WELL WITH EXPERIENCE.

  9. NONE OF THESE FEMALE ARTISTS HAS TO “WATCH-OUT” FOR ANYONE. THEY ARE ALL UNIQUE IN THEIR OWN RHELM. ONE JUST AS GOOD AS ANOTHER. THE HARDER YOU WORK, THE BETTER YOU SHOULD BE. SO I’M GUESSING THAT EACH CONCENTRATES ON THEIR OWN PRESENTATIONS AND IMAGES, AND GIVES IT ALL THAT THEY’VE GOT.

  11. LOL you old crones are probably fat and out of shape and got cellulite ans saddlebags sit down and let the young and sexy take over.

  12. J Hud, if you are out there listening:
You are a Chicago girl! You are from the City of the Mavis Staples,Lou Rawls, Curtis Mayfield, The Emotions, Ramsey Lewis, Donny Hathaway, though he moved to St. Louis, MO, (and I have to give tribute to the late journalist Leanita McClain!). First Lady Michelle Obama was raised in Chicago. Need I say more?!!! You were brought up in the church. You come from a City where the church went to the streets and even there was some element of the spiritually good in secular music. You are one female artist I tout in front of my daughters as being gifted with voice and having not sold out to Hollyweird. Chil’ keep your clothes on. Show a little here and then there, but don’t show it all. Put the sanctity back in sex and put sex back in the bedroom behind closed doors. I, too, am an artist of a different genre, so I am all for creativity. Just remember there is an art to “real” sexiness and a fine line between sexy and desperation. Please use your gift for the Glory of the One who gave it to you. Please use your gifts to help girls value themselves. Think of all the young girls who don’t have mothers or fathers pumping confidence in them. You can be that voice. Think of the girls who do have parents that train them in the way they should go. Girls will be girls, they don’t(nor did we)always listen. You can be that back-up in voice and in image. You can also be the voice of helping females know what qualities to look for in a male. One of my favorite songs that gets to the essence of what art (to me) is all about is Lauryn Hill’s “Superstar” ***

  13. Mel…
    I think that’s Phyllis Hyman…not human.

    Wonnetta…
It’s realm…not rhelm (a new word in Ebonics…similar to conversating)

Hooked on Phonics (Lol). Don’t buy a dictionary…it won’t help.

    • @Kieth….

LMAO!!!!! Too funny! I heard that… its really a sad day when shyt in our black communities is all falling out the bottom plain to see in all our faces and we’re so [email protected] sorry we still can’t except the real truth about selves as a black-people.

The word says when we go before our God to be judged: *WE CAN’T POINT THE FINGER AT NOBODY”, so what does that tell you…..LMBO!!! Crazy Man!!!!
