From the first period of their union, Hollywood megastars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have dealt with rumors swirling around about their love lives.
Will, 50, and Jada, 47, have been married for over 20 years. They have raised two children who have also achieved fame as entertainers. According to a 2018 article published by CelebrityNetWorth.com, the combined wealth between the power couple is estimated to be nearly $300 million dollars.
It’s needless to say that Will and Jada have built an enviable empire, which will create opportunities for their children’s generation and beyond. However, rumors about the two being “swingers” and pledging membership to the Church of Scientology have continued to persist.
Both Will and Jada have recently spoke out publicly to set the record straight and explain the unconventional but sacred way they define their relationship, which goes beyond a ceremonial title or legal status. People Magazine just published a report, which quoted Jada fervently telling her side of the story saying:
“I needed a different form to dissolve all the expectations that I had of a marriage. I needed to do that to see Will outside of husband and see him as a human being. We have all these expectations. ‘Oh, this is what a husband is. This is what a wife is.’ I started dissolving all the ideas and expectations…and labels.'” (People Magazine)
Jada also has a Facebook Watch show called Red Table Talk. In a teaser for the upcoming October 22 episode, Will disproves the rumors about his union. “Alright, so hold on. Let’s clear some rumors: Scientology, swingers…just historical rumors,” he said.
