When women get into shape and lose those extra pounds, most of their friends cheer for them. But then there are those who feel that big is always beautiful, even when it’s not healthy. We hope this isn’t true, but it’s being reported that Jennifer Hudson’s husband-to-be, David Otunga is not so excited about her massive weight loss.
“Jennifer’s weight has been an issue between them ever since she lost her first big chunk of weight in 2010,” a source told ShowBizSpy.com.
“When they met, she was a happy, proud, healthy woman who loved food and embraced every aspect of life with so much enthusiasm. Now she takes up to four hours to get ready when they go out, and she gets stressed out every time she puts a morsel of food in her mouth.
The source says that, in spite of David’s efforts to convince Jennifer that she looks good no matter what, she is typically resistant to his overtures. It doesn’t appear, if this is true, that David is on-board with the weight loss.
“David tells her he thinks she’s beautiful no matter what size she is, but he misses the down-to-earth ‘I don’t care’ Jen. Every meal is a pain in the butt, and he’s starting to feel totally sidelined by her obsession with her weight,” the source continued to say.
Maybe with David’s disappointment about Jennifer’s weight obsession, he might want to consider these three things: First, Jennifer is bringing millions of dollars into the household with her new Weight Watchers endorsements. Secondly, she has been through an amazing amount of trauma over the last few years after having nearly every member of her family murdered in cold blood. Third, maybe he should be happy about the fact that his future wife is going to be healthy and live longer because of her weight loss.
So, so sad.
