Recently, I was delighted to interview a woman that I hold in very high regard and genuinely appreciate. You may have seen her on A&E’s popular show “Hoarders”, where she is an expert.
Dr. Melva Green describes herself, first as a mother and then as a spiritual healer. She is also a clairvoyant, a board certified psychiatrist, and is of course part of the “hoarders” team that helps people overcome their challenges with hoarding.
The part of the interview that stood out to me the most was when Dr. Green spoke about how, as women, we need to start learning how to put ourselves first. As a mother and wife, as well as a business woman, I personally deal with a lot of guilt when I take time to myself and I’m sure a lot of women feel that way as well.
Well, ladies, there is good news! As I told Dr. Green during the interview, from now on, I will take time to care for myself and I will feel good about it! Any if anyone protests, ladies, we can say that it is doctor’s orders.
The interview (audio) is below and I can promise that after listening, you will feel, encouraged, motivated and inspired. That for me, has been how I feel every single time I have had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Green.
